Website re-make and commercialisation
In 2009 juicy pitched and won the contract to re-make the Portsmouth FC website. PFC were tied into an agency but juicy’s business case put forward an opportunity to break free from the restrictive ties and remake the site to match the new branding work they had recently commissioned.
The process began with strategy workshops with all departments and stakeholders to gather requirements and produce a future proof specification. A bespoke CMS was created to manage the unique needs of the various site contributors. Commercialisation was a vital part of the deal allowing revenue generation opportunities throughout the site. Integration of content and media such as video, photography, live match commentary was essential to provide users with interesting and exclusive content.
